NTR New Telugu Film Baadshah Movie Review:

Director Srinu Vaitla latest directorial venture Baadshah starring Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in leads, has created lot of curiosity among the film goers. Although it has a routine story, the film makes sure that it reaches the expectations that it has created among the viewers prior its release. It is very good masala entertainer with superb performance and rich production values. Junior NTR has proved that he is the real Baadshah.

Sadhu Bhai (Kelly Dorji) is a don of international crime syndicate and Baadshah (NTR) is an intelligent and aggressive player in his team. Baadshah’s father Ranjan (Mukesh Rushi), who is a trusted aide of Sadhu, operates a very profitable casino in Macau. But over a period of time, Sadhu is decides to finish off Baadshah. Why he takes this decision? What is Baadshah’s secret motive? Answers to these questions will form the crux of the story.

Artists Performance:

Junior NTR is the showman in Baadshah and he has given brilliant performance. His aggressive, stylish acting, comedy timing, effortless dialogue delivery, dance moves and stunning action are sure to rock you. The actor pays tribute to his grandfather with a sangeeth episode based on a medley of Sr NTR’s hit songs. Kajal Aggarwal has less scope for her role, but she impresses you with her Banthi philosophy and funny one liners. She looks quite glamorous in the movie. Kajal Aggarwal, who has earlier worked with NTR in Brindavanam, once again makes sure that her chemistry with NTR rocks you. As Inspector Padmanabha Simha, Brahmanandam is hilarious and a big asset for the film. His scenes with NTR and Nasser are rib-tickling. MS Narayana has a tailor made role and as Revenge Nageswara Rao, he also makes you laugh. His comedy with NTR, Vennela Kishore and Kajal will helps the director maintain the interest of the audience in the first half of the movie.

Technical And Other Departments:

Srinu Vaitla, who is adept at making a perfect comedy film, has once again proved that he is master in the trade. He has chosen a simple story for Baadshah, but has created a brilliant screenplay. What makes it interesting is its entertainment quotient. The movie has fast-paced narration and he has got a complete grip on it. He has tapped out excellent work from each department. His characterisation is also good.

Movie Analysis:

First half of the film is okay. Second half is entertaining the moment Brahmanandam’s character is introduced. The entire ‘psycho splitism’ episode featuring Brahmanandam is the lifeline of the movie. Plus points of the film are NTR and the entertainment in the second half. On the flip side, the effective picturization of the cause which turns Rama Rao into Baadshah would have made this film emotionally gripping. On a whole, Baadshah is a film that serves you with Seenu Vytla kind of entertainment using NTR and Brahmanandam in an effective way. NTR has got a film with good box office potential after a long gap. It’s up to the star power of NTR and brand value of Seenu Vytla to take it further.

Final View:

Baadshah is a good family entertainer, watch it with your family in this summer.
