Naga Chaitanya and Sunil New Telugu Film Tadakha Movie Review:

Budding actor Naga Chaitanya, a son of Akkineni Nagarjuna, has taken a break for nearly one and half year after the failure of Bejawada. He has teamed with actor Sunil for his latest outing Tadakha (Thadaka). Although it is remake of N Linguswamy's mass entertainer Vettai, it is not a scene-to-scene copy of the original. Director Kishore Kumar Pardasani (Dolly) has adapted it with few changes that reflect the local values and tastes.

story:

We have seen many movies before, which shows an elder sibling bailing out his younger one from troubles but in Tadakha, it is vice-versa. The introduction to the characters begin with the early days of Naga Chaitanya and Sunil, where the former gets beaten-up by his acquaintance while flying a kite. In return, Naga Chaitanya, who leaves the place crying, makes his junior to seek revenge. Having given enough hints about the nature of the siblings, the story then moves forward when Naga Chaitanya, by chance or may be by force, turns a cop. Lacking courage and strength, he manages to face the hurdles with the help of his brother. Being a kind of body double to his elder sibling, Guru successfully makes baddies trembling in fear. At this juncture, Naga Chaitanya ties the knot with Tamanna and Sunil falls in love with Andrea Jeremiah. However, the villain discovers the truth and the situation changes drastically. The remaining part should be seen on-screen.

Artists Performances:

Naga Chaitanya steal the complete show with their excellent performances. Here, we should praise Naga Chaitanya for putting on some kilos and developing a paunch for his role of a laid-back cop. In fact, he amazingly brings the life to his role and make the viewers that his role is dozy in front of his character, which shines almost in every scene. Tamannaah and Andrea Jeremiah are good and they have justified their roles

Technical and Other Departments:

Technically, Arthur A. Wilson cinematography is good, S. Thaman's music is okay and Ram-Lakshman, Kanal Kannan, Ravi Varma action stunts are commendable. Kishore Kumar has complete control over the subject and from his writing team, especially from the dialogue writer Vema Reddy, he has taken out best.On the flip side, Kishore Kumar has committed a mistake by changing the attitude of Naga Chaitanya character in the second half. It looks logic-less and not convincible for many. Putting aside this, there are quite a few minor errors, which go unnoticed.

Movie Analysis:

Tadakha is an action comedy with some nice emotional moments and, the brothers and sisters' bonding may make it a complete package for family audience. Naga Chaitanya-Sunil's performances are the main highlight in the movie. S Thaman's music, Arthur A Wilson's Cinematography, Kishore's screenplay and direction, Brahmanandam and Vennela Kishore's comedy are its other attraction. The biggest drawbacks of the movie are predictable story and a bit dragging narration in the second half. The director has done a good job in adapting Tamil movie into Telugu version. As I said earlier, Kishore has made some significant changes in his version, which is more humourous and entertaining when compared to its Tamil version. Keeping the sentiments of Telugu audience in mind, he has made some alterations in the second half especially in the characterisation Naga Chaitanya and Sunil.Tadakha revolves around the bonding between two brothers. The elder one is fearless and aggressive in nature, while the younger is yellow-livered coward, who always lives in fear. After the death of their father who was police officer, elder bother forces the younger one to take up his father's job. What happens when mobsters lock horns with this coward cop will create a laugh riot in the movie.

Final View:

Tadakha is a material, which will be liked by family and mass audience.
