Sairam and Esther New Telugu Film 1000 Abaddalu Movie Review:
Cinematographer-turned-director Dharma Teja is known for his teen romance dramas like Jayam, Chitram and Nuvvu Nenu. But following the poor response to his last film Neeku Naaku Dash Dash, he has done something off the beaten path in his latest directorial venture 1000 Abaddalu. Though he tries best to make the audience keep glued to screens, a few slow and monotonous scenes kill their interest.

Satya (Sairam Shankar) is the owner of an advertising company and he falls in love with already-engaged Satya (Esther) after seeing her generous nature. In bid to marry her, he tells several lies. After marrying, she comes to know about his lies. What happens next will forms rest of the story, which should be watched onscreen.

Artists Performance:

The story of the movie revolves around the role of Esther, which has ample scope for performance. The actress has tried her best to suit her character. She impresses you with her glamour in a couple of songs. Her chemistry with Sairam Shankar is also good to watch on screen.
Nagababu’s entry scene as Tower Star – fan of Power Star is hilarious and brings laughter on your face. Driver and Cleaner episode between Venu and Naveen is also funny and it makes the theatre echoed with laughter. Naresh, Hema, Babu Mohan, Josh Ravi and other artistes have also done justice to their respective roles.

Technical and Other Departments:

The movie has good production values and Ramana Gogula’s music and background score are the main attractions in the technical. All his soundtracks are melodious, trendy and good to listen. His background score enhances the effect of several serious scenes in the movie.
The picturiasation of 1000 Abaddalu is good and one of the biggest strengths of the movie. Teja’s punch dialogues and funny one-lines are also among the big attractions of the film. Editing is also commendable, but the editor could have trimmed certain dragging sequences.

Movie Analysis:

The film 1000 Abaddalu is a romantic comedy entertainer with a few masala elements. Sairam Shankar’s performance, Teja’s interesting script and a few funny dialogues, Nagababu, Naveen and Venu’s hilarious comedy, Ramana Gogula’s music and background score and picturiasation are some of the main attractions in the movie. A few unconvincing, unrealistic and dragging sequences and predictable plot in the second half are the major drawbacks of the film. The movie is based on ancient Telugu proverb about weddings – There is nothing wrong in telling 1000 lies to materialise one marriage. The film is all about what happens when a man literally follows the proverb in his real life. The first half of the film is completely different from Teja’s usual style of filmmaking. Barring a few sequences, this portion is quite enjoyable. The second half of the film is also interesting, but lacks twists and turns in the story.

Final View:
Overall, 1000 Abaddalu is not a usual romantic entertainer of director Teja. Except for a few dragging scenes, the movie is a good entertainer, which can be watched and enjoyed once
