Sushanth and Shanvi, Shwetha Bhardwaj New Telugu film Adda Movie Review:

Actor Sushanth, nephew of Akkineni Nagarjuna, debuted in films with Kalidasu, which was one of the big hits of 2008. His second movie Current has become superhit at the Box Office. Now, the actor is set to score a hat-trick with his third outing Adda, which has hit the marquee today (August 15). With lot of improvement in his acting, he is sure to impress the audience again.

Abhi (Sushanth) is a breakup consultant who also is a wedding planner for the couple of who do register marriage. Priya (Shanvi) is the daughter of a big man. She approaches Abhi to breakup the love of her elder sister (Suhasini) who is in love with a software engineer (Srinivas Avasarala). The rest of the story is all about the reason why he choose register office as his Adda and what happens between Abhi and Priya.

Artists Performance:

Sushanth’s new look is good. He is confident. His dialogue delivery is free-flowing. He has danced with good energy levels (especially title song). He has arrived as an actor with this movie. Shanvi suited the role of a rich girl who inevitably falls in love. Dev Gill starts off as a ruthless villain and ends up being a relatively soft guy. Jaya Prakash cameo as village head is hilarious. Raghu Babu entertains as sidekick of villain. The comedians gang of hero (Dhanraj, Thagubothu Ramesh and Jayam Venu) are good. Josh Ravi’s gay comedy is an extension of what he has done in Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde. Srinivas Avasarala and Suhasini are natural.

Techincal and Other Departments:

Arun Kumar’s cinematography offers a rich visuals to the film Adda and his picturisation in foreign locales is big asset of the film. Anoop Rubens’ music and background music are also major attraction in the technical front. Editing could have been commendable, if the climax and pre-climax scences were trimmed.

Movie Analysis:

First half of the film is decent. The latter part of second half should have been handled better. The comedy and entertainment in the film is good. Plus points of the film are Sushanth, entertainment and music. On the flip side, scenes flow towards climax should have been better. On a whole, Adda film makes an okay watch for it’s entertainment and music.

Final View:

Overall, Adda is a good romantic comedy entertainer, which will do well at B and C centres. It is a good time passer for this weekend.
